Carton of the Year 2017- Food Winner

This month we bring you the winner of the Carton of the Year in the food sector in the European Carton Awards 2017. The winner was a coffee machine capsule carton for Jacobs Douwe Egberts for their L’or coffee pod range.

Carton design and printing

The structure of this carton was created by German based STI Group and the graphic design was by London based Design Bridge

The graphic design uses bands of colour to identify the different flavours and has a small triangular window to allow shoppers to see the pods inside the carton. The colour bands are UV varnished. The black design and the embossed, gold foiled logo create an cool, elegant impression.
